Interim Purchase Ledger Processor - Fixed Term Role until end of March

Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm

£19,000 - £23,000

An exciting new opportunity has arisen in Bourne for a purchase ledger clerk to apply their knowledge and skills to a rewarding business who have a lot to offer their staff. They also offer a flexible working week so you can spend more time with your pets!

This is a busy and hands on role that requires someone who is hard working, motivated and not afraid of a challenge.

You will be playing a very important part within the business, processing purchase ledger invoices, making sure payments are made and carrying out admin tasks for the Accounts Finance Department whilst supporting the ledger supervisor. The cogs won't be turning without you!

This role includes:

  • Process Invoices for both Direct and Indirect, Process invoices daily for inventory and non-inventory purchases
  • Carry out supplier statement reconciliations and pro-actively resolve outstanding items/issues
  • Issue invoices for authorisation and liaise with managers to resolve invoice and hold queries
  • Ensure the ledger is kept tidy - review creditors report to ensure no over payments and suppliers are being paid on time. Also ensuring, that all direct debit payments are allocated.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Some experience in a similar role.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • GCSE (or equivalent) grade C in English and Maths
  • Good excel / word skills.
