Purchase Ledger Clerk - 12 Month Contract
- Full time 8.30 - 5pm, Monday to Thursday and early finish on a Friday
- Up to £25,000
- Site-based in a great team
An exciting full-time position has arisen in the Kings Lynn area for an individual who has experience in purchase ledger and is looking for a change of scenery. Covering for maternity leave, the ideal candidate will start as soon as possible and will have experience of purchase ledger.
The role is a 12-month contract beginning in the new year and requires a hands-on motivated person who has a lot to offer. You will be joining a tight knit team working for a great company who care about their staff and don't let hard work go unrecognised.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Raising purchase orders and matching invoices and processing on to system
- Gaining authorisation for invoices and resolving any queries
- Processing BACS runs and manual payments
- Setting up new suppliers
- Month end processing
- Ad hoc duties
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong purchase ledger experience
- Good attention to detail.
- A good understanding of Excel and finance systems
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
