As part of their substantial recruitment drive, they are seeking a Video Editor to join the post production team. You will be responsible for editing VT's and promos and seeing the process through to a finished broadcast quality VT.
As a Video Editor, you will:
- Edit channel VT's, forward plan and meet all project deadlines.
- Work alongside the Senior Editor to attend wider business meetings, schedule projects and day to day workflow.
- Being responsible for large, high profile projects and look after a more extensive workload.
- Understand channel branding and continuity and liaise with other departments in order to have relevant information on upcoming events, special requests and given briefs.
- Capture ad log material ready for edit.
- Audio recording and VO recording as well as audio manipulation and sound mixing techniques.
We are looking for a team player who can work well under pressure and have good working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop. You will also need to have knowledge in export/conversion principles, capturing and logging of assets and audio manipulation and sound mixing techniques.
