The One Group are pleased to be working with a leading testing and development company in Bedfordshire who are seeking an Engine Test Facilities Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
My client boasts state of the art facilities and offer testing services to their customers across the Automotive, petrochemical, defence, and tyre industries. Their engine testing centre covers a range of propulsion technologies from single cylinder research to full engine development, calibration, and validation. They are looking for a facilities engineer to join the team to maintain, service and repair a range of testing and measuring equipment.
The day to duties include:
- Support engineers and technician to repair equipment issues
- Ensure service and maintenance service schedules are implemented and executed as required
- Assist with the integration of test equipment into the test cell
- Create technical procedures for facilities maintenance, calibration and quality checks
What we are looking for:
- Experienced in the maintenance and repair of gas emissions measurements systems as well as other measurement devices such as AVL or Cambustion.
- Equipment service and calibration programme coordination
- Electronic and electrical repairs on equipment
- Fault finding on a range of equipment
