The One Group are pleased to be working with an Automotive Testing business in Bedfordshire who hold an excellent reputation within the sector and are seeking a Engine Test Facilities Technician to join there Engine Technology Facilities Department.
You will have the opportunity to join a business who are thriving and offer their customers a wide range of engine tests and are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician from an Engine testing background to provide planned and reactive support in all aspects of their Engine Test Facilities.
They day to duties include:
- Perform reactive repairs on a variety of equipment including: Fuel measurement hardware, engine dynos, testbed software and emissions hardware to name a few
- Scheduled maintenance and calibration on the equipment within the facility
- Develop engineering solutions to day-to-day technical issues when adopting test equipment
- Order parts and maintain stock of critical items
What we are looking for:
- City and Guilds in Automotive or Engineering
- Fault finding skills on electrical and mechanical systems
- Test bed calibration and configuration experience
- Sound understanding of emissions equipment
