ERP and IT Specialist - Manufacturing

Genuinely a market leading opportunity for an ERP specialist to join an international manufacturing business that trebled their sales in 2020 and continue to grow at a phenomenal rate. You will take ownership of the ERP function querying databases using P SQL and look to improve business processes and integration with the wider IT Infrastructure.

Experience in a manufacturing environment and an in-depth knowledge of the way IT works with machinery and handheld devices is a must.

The ERP system in place is not commonly used in the UK and we are looking for people with experience with other ERP systems such as Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, Sage, NetSuite or others.

Responsibilities/ Requirements

You will be collaborating to determine which business processes need imization, enhancing the performance of our IT systems, and deploying and implementing suitable ERP solutions.

Create a vision for ERP within the organisation, communicate it to the IT Manager and plan to achieve the vision.

Develop an ERP strategy which identifies the future direction of the use of technology within the organisation to drive efficiencies.

Provide advice to stake holders on the application and use of ERP to provide excellent services working closely with the management team to overcome business challenges with the use of technology.

Establishing ERP and IT needs via business process analysis and consultation.

Analysing existing infrastructure and performing IT system enhancements.

Providing technical support and training ERP end-users.

Writing customized programs and scripts, as well as configuring ERP applications.

Installing ERP software and ensuring seamless integration with IT systems.

Performing diagnostic tests and resolving issues to optimize performance.

Preparing development progress updates and documenting ERP processes.

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or similar preferred.

At least five years' experience as an ERP specialist in a related manufacturing industry.

A background in business administration, project management, or a related field will be advantageous.

Demonstrable Stakeholder management skills - able to engage and influence senior level business management.

A broad technical background spanning Applications and Server/Network infrastructure

Advanced skills in Excel (Pivot tables, Lookups, Advanced formulas, modelling)
