This company are leading the development of breakthrough MEMs technology used within a specialist industrial environment. This client are focused on developing and applying innovative technology where we can apply the use of gravity to create value.

The technology has application across several areas including: reservoir surveillance - improving hydrocarbon recovery and monitoring CO2 storage (and sequestration); ground water management, civil-geotechnical engineering, mining engineering and even to the defence and space industries.

The technology is disruptuting current practices in the above markets and set for further growth as a result.

The role of our Experimental Physicist entails working within an international team to design, build and test MEMs gravity sensors and the associated precision front end electronics.

Responsibilities
* Design, set up and execute experiments with sensors e.g. accelerometers, gyroscopes, gravimeters, IMUs.
* Analyse and interpret data to contribute to sensor understanding. Present data to engineers and scientists

The Right Candidate:-

You will naturally be highly able technical problem solver, keen on working with cutting edge technology and working with a dynamic R&D and engineering environment.

Educated to Bachelor or PHD Level in Physics or Engineering subjects with an appreciation for electronics development from your work experience.

Essential to the success of the application is demonstrating knowledge of sensor physics errors including noise, stability, and drift.
