Working in a busy and dynamic operation the position will oversee the Financial Accounting team in providing financial performance information and commercial financial support for the UK Franchisee and UK Insurance business units.
- Timely completion of monthly and annual closing processes for the UK business units.
- Month end reporting: P&L, balance sheet, variance analysis, sales & margin reporting and other KPI reports and analysis.
- Control environment:
-Co-ordinate site Sarbanes Oxley activities.
-Monthly balance sheet reconciliation processes.
-Monitor procedures to ensure ongoing financial control.
- Input into the preparation of rolling forecasts and annual budgeting processes.
- Preparation of consolidated group statutory accounts and group corporation tax returns.
- Preparation of group VAT return.
- Liaise with external and internal auditors and provide related schedules and analysis.
- Submission of reports to various Government agencies (Intrastat, EC Sales, National Statistics).
- Ad hoc project work as assigned.
