Senior IT Support Engineer

A large software organisation based in Cambridge and London are looking for a Senior IT Support Engineer to join their IT team. This role will work closely with a number of Executive people within the business including The directors, Head of End User Services, and the Operation/Security teams.
The Role:
- Manage IT tickets from the helpdesk
- Be an escalation point for incidents that can not be resolved by standard or agreed processes
- Ensure tickets are being resolved within the agreed SLA's
- Provide suggestions to improve current processes
- Ensure the IT Equipment is set up and working for meetings
What are we looking for?
- Excellent senior stakeholder management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Be able to translate technical information into an easy-to-understand format
- Come across in a professional and confident manner
- Right to work in the UK
Technical skills required:
- Windows 7-10
- Office 365
- Active Directory
- IT Hardware
- LAN/WAN
This is a permanent position which can be based in either Cambridge or London. If Cambridge based, there will be a small amount of travel down into the London office to assist with setting up meetings (expenses paid).
As well as the basic salary, a yearly bonus of around 5% is paid.
