Senior IT Support Engineer

A large software organisation based in Cambridge and London are looking for a Senior IT Support Engineer to join their IT team. This role will work closely with a number of Executive people within the business including The directors, Head of End User Services, and the Operation/Security teams.

The Role:

Manage IT tickets from the helpdesk
Be an escalation point for incidents that can not be resolved by standard or agreed processes
Ensure tickets are being resolved within the agreed SLA's
Provide suggestions to improve current processes
Ensure the IT Equipment is set up and working for meetings

What are we looking for?

Excellent senior stakeholder management experience
Excellent communication skills
Be able to translate technical information into an easy-to-understand format
Come across in a professional and confident manner
Right to work in the UK

Technical skills required:

Windows 7-10
Office 365
Active Directory
IT Hardware
LAN/WAN

This is a permanent position which can be based in either Cambridge or London. If Cambridge based, there will be a small amount of travel down into the London office to assist with setting up meetings (expenses paid).

As well as the basic salary, a yearly bonus of around 5% is paid.
