Technical Support Engineer

Ideally candidates would be based within a commutable distance of Cambridge and can visit the office 1 - 2 days per week, however this may be negotiable for the right candidate. You will be providing technical support on their hardware and software products which are currently used across the globe! With clients across the US, Europe and Asia, there is the potential to travel abroad to visit client sites if you want to see more of the world!

We are open to hearing from candidates at various levels, from STEM / Computer Science graduates to those with a couple of years technical support experience. Please reach out for an informal chat to learn more about this role! Salary ranges from £25k to £40k.

The Role:

  • Provide Technical Support to global customers
  • Inhouse and Remote customer training on the products
  • Answer technical questions on the products
  • Become a Subject Manner Expert on key areas of the range of products
  • Assist clients with the product interface

What are we looking for?

  • Strong technical mindset
  • Previous experience supporting a technical product or software is essential for this role (unless a STEM / Computer Science graduate)
  • Excellent people skills (This role is a customer facing position, so a high level of English and people skills are required)
  • Strong problem solver
  • Due to the technical nature of the product, a strong educational background is required
