My recruitment journey started in 2012. Prior to that, I’d worked in a range of technical environments, so it was a no-brainer to recruit within similar sectors.
I joined The ONE Group in May 2021 and flutter between our Cambridge office and working remotely, which can sometimes be another country – wherever I can find sunshine! I enjoy the vibe in our fun office, but sometimes the quiet of working from home, usually with my two black cats perched nearby.
I’m curious about “how things work and love learning and am fascinated by new technologies. If I could go back in time, I would’ve studied Physics or Chemistry. I guess I could still find the time if there were more hours in the week!
I’ve lived in Cambridge my entire life; well networked, with a detailed knowledge of the area and market I serve. I love to travel and have also expanded my client base globally, which has enabled me to visit clients in Italy and the US! If I can find a client in Hawaii, I’ll be booking a flight!
In addition to leading our Cambridge-based Engineering & Scientific team, my own clients tend to be a mix of Nanotech, Materials, Physical Sciences, Sustainability and Cell & Gene Therapy organisations, as well as other clients in the wider high-tech space; the more unusual, the better!
