Our client based in Hertfordshire has a newly created role for a Legal & Compliance Manager. Reporting into the director of Legal, you will be responsible for:-

• Developing and overseeing control systems
• Evaluate the efficiency of controls and continuously review and improve
• Revise procedures, reports etc to identify hidden risks
• Collaborate with corporate counsels and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations
• Assess the business's future ventures
• Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues
• Assist with preparation of standard forms and templates
• Ad-hoc projects

You will need the following experience:-

• Minimum 2 years experience as a compliance officer/manager within the construction or utilities industries
• In-depth knowledge of the industry's standards and regulations
• Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
• A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality
• An analytical mind able to "see" the complexities of procedures and regulations

In return they offer a salary of £45-65k dependent on experience and hybrid working..
